Every year during the month of June, Santillana del Mar and its streets for a few days, return to medieval times.
Its streets are filled with, archers, acrobats, knights dueling, master falconers, street, etc.., Dressed in period costumes which take you back to times of splendor of the town, with its knights and nobles.
The festival also has a medieval market in which you can find handicrafts, typical products, etc.., which embraces the historical Santillana and takes on an evocative character from other eras.
